It's ironic how we have to set a date once a year to celebrate Mother's Day. Is it just me or does it seem like 364 days of their lives are solely dedicated to their family, and they have 1 day for us to reciprocate that same dedication?I have been blessed to have such great mother figures in my life. I am forever grateful for my 할머니 for bringing my mom into this world, who then brought me to this world!

Happy Mother's Day
The day before Mother's Day, my family including my aunt and uncle visiting from Boston decided to visit our grandma. My 햘머니 is in Heaven now, but since there are no visitors allowed there (HAHA), we settled for the next best thing and went to where she is buried. It was the most perfect and beautiful day. Many people brought flowers to their loved ones, but we decided on this pretty heart and bow.

Like the Old Days!
This is the oldest Cue picture of all four of us that I could actually find on my computer. It was during our senior year of high school (6 years ago!). Couple things WRONG with this picture.. First, my black choker!! I saw Kristen Cavallari wear it on Laguna Beach and use to wear it ALL the time. Also the fact that we all have no noses!! It used to be the whiter the picture, the better the picture LOL!
Anyhoo, anytime I suggest even going to Cue, I am immediately shut down by my girlfriends who find it meaningless to take these overpriced pictures anymore. And secretly, I dont blame them (haha!). But surprisingly, we all decided to take sticker pictures like the old days because we knew it'd be awhile since all four of us would get together again.
This was taken last week (not at Cue, but at Round 1). Haha really random place to have a sticker picture booth. It's always hard for all four of us to think of something to do (minus going to eat), but ending the night with sticker pictures was fun! Love you girls xoxo

Shh! Big Secret
The secret is out! Hanna has been planning on coming home for couple weeks now in order to surprise our dear bestfriend Jessica before she is off to basic training! And even though I almost slipped, and there were times we thought Jessica already knew, she was totally blown away. We planned a big dinner at Coconut Bay with all our friends, and some of us headed to Tea Station to end the night drinking boba. Coconut Bay and Tea Station are two places I definitely took for granted when I lived in Rowland Heights... Hanna misses it now that she's in Philly, and I'm sure Jessica will come to miss it too.
Jessica was really touched that all of this was put together for her. And I was happy that she was happy. :) Catching up with old friends and seeing Hanna again... what a great night!

Life These Days
Hello! Yes, I have definitely fallen behind updating, but I am back to give you a glimpse of what my life has been the past few weeks!
Baseball season has officially begun! Already! I know, it seems like just yesterday my heart broke for the Texas Ranger when they lost Game 7, but who really cares anymore... All the attention is on the Dodgers now! They are having the best season yet, and I was lucky enough to make it to Opening Week to watch the Boys in Blue in action.
With that said, I have been lucky and have finally started my volunteering process. I just completed training with St. Joseph, and will begin volunteering there tomorrow. I also started training at another volunteer program under Cope Health Solutions in West Covina. Who knew how much training it took for a volunteer to actually volunteer at a hospital! As of now, I'm just really excited and ready to get going!
I have also been spending an ample amount of time with one of my bestfriends, Jessica! She will be leaving me to do better and greater things soon, so I am taking in all I can with her!

That is it for now, but I will definitely keep in mind to update more often. I feel like this week will surely be a good week. Just saying... :)

Quick Trip to Big Bear
Thank our sweet Lord for the rain last week. Not only for the sake of California and our crops, but also so the mountains can be filled with snow again for our snowboarders and skiers! I'm not even great at snowboarding, but I do have all the gear and therefore I will try to make it up at least once a year. This was the first time going with only 4 people (usually there's a big group), but I had such a blast with Jessica, Cory, and Tiffany! We quickly got there right when the slopes opened, and left right before traffic hit.
Our boards! Didn't notice how girly all our boards were haha
Jessica has been my snowboarding partner since high school! YAY!
Tiffany!! She knows how to do it all... She snowboarded AND fixed a flat tire that day O_O
Jessica & Cory (2 of the nicest people I know!)
My eyes got sunburned so bad! Next time, I need to learn to KEEP the goggles on like this...
Bye bye Big Bear! Thanks for the memories.
When I came home it was time for my night physics lab! IT WAS A HUGEEE BUMMER!!! It's hard for me to go to the lab as is, but my eyes were red, my clothes were stinking from Boiling Crab, and my body was achy all over. Luckily I was a tropper and stuck through the whole lab, but next time I will never ever plan anything after a day of boarding. Big lesson learned!

Happy Birthday 아빠!
Today was a special day because it was my dad's birthday! My mom took a day off work and the three of us headed to Redondo Beach to celebrate at our favorite sashimi restaurant. Everything was perfect, minus the weather! The weather was awful! It rained last year when we came here, and it rained again today! You would think that we would choose not to come here when it's raining, but the sashimi here is just that good and fresh that we're willing to tough out the rain.
Happy Birthday 아빠!! I LOVE YOU!!!

Hanna's Birthday Tea Party
Earlier this week, my girlfriends and I got together to celebrate our dearest Hanna's 24th birthday. It was an early birthday celebration because she would not be here on her actual birthday. Last year Hanna took all the girls down to San Diego and we had the cutest picnic and then watched The Screwtape Letter play at the Balboa Theater. This year, she invited us to an intimate brunch at her house. Everything from the food, drinks, set-up, decorations were amazing!!! Hanna's mom is gifted with cooking, and Hanna is gifted with creativity, so they make the perfect duo when inviting people over. I wish it was her birthday everyday, so we can celebrate with style like this!
Hanna's house is already fancy, but she definitely went over and beyond for this cute table set-up!
This was our menu that Hanna had printed for us. I honestly didn't even have a chance to read it until now because I was so absorbed with everything else that morning!
We had a 4 course meal! If I had to pick a favorite, it had to be the creme brulee w/ berries! YUM!!!
Our drinks consisted of mimosas (my new favorite drink), and our personal choice of tea.
After brunch, we spent the majority of our day in front of this cozy fire playing different games! It worked out perfectly because the whole day was drenched with rain outside. Yuck...
Hanna's birthday was the perfect way for us girls to spend some quality time with each other before we all head to back to our reality world. We all shared an overflowing amount of food and laughter, so that pretty much summed up an unforgettable day. Although Hanna left yesterday, I miss her already! Who knows when all four of us will get together again like this...

Song of the Night
I am obsessed with this song. Every time I hear it on the radio, it gives me tingles down my spine and I am not ashamed to turn it up! Hope you all enjoy it as well.
