Hello and Goodbye

Last week, two of my aunts came to visit from out of state, Aunt Helen and Aunt Kay. I never refer to them by their names... I always call all of my aunts by "emo", which means aunt in Korean. They came for the weekend to visit my grandpa. It is a treat living close to my grandpa in LA, because we always have relatives coming from all over!
Say hello to Aunt Helen and Aunt Kay! I always love seeing my aunts, especially because my mom gets really happy to see her sisters. It was definitely fun while they were here.

My grandpa and brother joining in on all the fun photo mix!

My two beautiful aunts!

There's something about a family that is irreplaceable and I love that! Whether it's my immediate family or extended family members, it's just great to have people there for you through thick and thin. xoxo

Proud Auntie!

Shame on me for not keeping up with my blog posts. Last week has been the busiest I have been this whole summer vacay. My brother is officially here for the summer from Texas, I started my job as a piano teacher, my cousins and my cutest little neice came to visit for couple of days, and we had VBS at my church! Whew, what a week! I have no excuses for falling behind on my blog though, and hopefully it doesn't happen again!

Anyways, my cousin and her husband just had their first daughter, name Olivia Jun- Slangen so they came to visit from San Francisco. I was so excited to see my little neice for the first time and she was soooo beautiful!!! They were only here for 3 days, so the majority of the time was spent with our grandpa. But they are huge baseball fans, so we made sure to squeeze in a night to go see a ballgame. As much as my brother and I wanted to take them to a Dodgers game, we had to settle for the Angels due to traffic reasons.

I was so shocked to see how NICE Angels stadium was.
Angels vs. Tigers (Angels won 1-0 btw)
Little Livi enjoying the ballgame!
Proud great-grandpa
Proud auntie!

It's no secret that I love little babies, and I can't wait to be able to start a family of my own. But, I was reminded that it's definitely a lot of work and I am in no rush starting that chapter of my life just yet, nor am I even prepared to. LOL I already miss my little Livi. Isn't she just the cutest little thing!?

Amateur Blogger

I'm still very new to blogging. One of my main reasons that I started blogging was so that I can have a digital journal with me. I think it'll be fun and interesting to read my posts in the next couple of years. So anyways, even when I go out, I still forget to take pictures of things to blog about. For example... this Saturday my family including my relatives went to Grand Lux Cafe for dinner to celebrate my cousin's graduation. I realized after finishing our meal, that I should have taken pictures of the meal to post on here! Luckily, I remembered to snap some family pictures outside. This place is gorgeous inside and out!

Congratulations 언니!
I wish I took pictures of the food so that I can provide critiques on the actual dishes, but it's okay. I consider myself and amateur blogger, so I know there will be plenty of more opportunities. P.S- I'm still in shock I was wrong about the Playoffs!!! The Mavs did play well, but poor Lebron!
